    CHILDS, LAURA ANN JUSTICE - age 96 of Coalfield, went to be with herLord on the evening of April 8, 2006. She was born October 24, 1909near Coalfield. Mrs. Childs was a loving mother, grandmother andfriend, and she never met a stranger. She wawas known for her kind andloving spirit by all who knew her. Until her health began to fail, shewas an active member of Middle Creek Baptist Church and the CoalfieldSenior Citizens. Mrs. Childs spent most of her life taking care ofothers. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Bert and Lou RogersJustice; husband, Henry Houston Childs; brothers, Clifford, Hugh andOscar; and a sister, Lorene Adcock. She is survived by: daughter, MaryAnn Russell and husband Bill, with whom she made her home; son,Richard Childs, all of Coalfield; grandchildren, Tammy Isbell andhusband Michael of Clinton, Jennifer Coscia and husband Charlie ofKnoxville, Sherry England and husband David of Maryville, Emily Hornerand husband Jason of Fountain City and Richard Childs, II of OliverSpring; great grandchildren, Garrett Isbell, Kelsey Scharff, AllisonEngland and Trevor Childs; and a sister, Clara Falagario and husbandPete of Goffstown, New Hampshire. The family will receive friendsMonday, AApril 10 from 6-7:30 pm at Middle Creek Baptist Church,Coalfield. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 pm with Rev. GarvinWalls and Rev. Michael Beach officiating. Graveside services will beheld at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 11 at Davis Cemeterry in Coalfield.Memorials can be made to: Coalfield Senior Citizens, PO Box 455,Coalfield, TN 37719 or Middle Creek Baptist Church, Mission Fund, 6455Knoxville Hwy, Oliver Springs, TN 37840.
