Grace Owens McKinney, age 85 of Harriman passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2002 at Roane Medical Center. She was a member of Trenton Street Baptist Church. A nurses aid for 19 years at Harriman hospital and worked at Trenton Street Baptist Church nursery. Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Clifton McKinney, daughter, Frances McKinney. Survivors: daughters; Olga McKinney Owens of Oliver Springs; Ernell McKinney Renfro of Rockwood; sons and daughters-in-law: Orvis A. & Joanie McKinney of Kingston; Arkie R. & Carolyn McKinney of Kingston; brothers: Joe Owens of Maryville, TN, Don Owens of Oliver Springs; grand daughters: Lynnita Angel of Rockwood, Donna Owens of Harriman; grandsons: Damon Lance Owens of Oakdale, David Oweens of Coalfield, Harold Godsey of Kingston, Michael Godsey of Kingston, Matthew McKinney of Kingston, Matthew McKinney of Kingston; step-grandsons: Frank Lambdin of Harriman, Michael Lambdin of Harriman; nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, great step-grandson: D.J. Gibson; sister-in-law: Elga McKinney. Funeral 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Kyker Funeral Home Chapel in Harriman with Rev. Pat McGee officiating. Interment 10:00 a.m. Friday at Willard Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Kyker Funeral Home in Harriman. At the family's request, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.
