Died:
DAVIS, JEROME, age 82, a resident of Oliver Springs, passed away, Friday, March 24, 2017 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge.

Mr. Davis was born April 28, 1934 in Windrock, TN. He was a lifelong resident of Oliver Springs and a member of Beech Park Baptist Church/

Before his retirement, Jerome was a food manager at the Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary for 31 years and he also owned and operated Davis urniture Store in Oliver Springs.

He is preceded in death by his father, Floyd Davis; by his mother, Mable Davis; by sisters: Mary Branson, Janet Brown and Carolyn McKinney.

Jerome is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kathryn Davis of Oliver Springs; by children: Danny and Kris Davis of Harriman, and Jerry and Teresa Davis of Harriman; by a brother, Don Davis and wife, Carolyn of
Oliver Springs; by sisters: Faye Owens of Oliver Springs, Betty Cross of Kingston, and Evelyn and husband Glenn Daugherty of Harriman, and he is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.

The family will receive friends, Sunday, March 26, 2017 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM at Premier Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 3:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gary Smith officiating. Burial and graveside services will be held, Monday, March 27, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Woods Cemetery in Coalfield, TN.
