Mitzi...I don't have proof, that is why I was asking the question. Eugene Justice of Morgan County, TN has written a book that is in the Anderson County, TN library. In his book he states that Moses was Abrahams father, I was never able to find proof of any connection (he had no source in his book) and just put feelers out for anyone who might have had. I, like you, do not think there is any connection, but am still open to anyone finding further proof. Thanks for your reply, Mary Dale

Mitizi, would you contact me on this Justice line. Of Abram's two son's, Squire and Joseph, I believe we descend from Joseph. However, I have several seen many other siblings posted to these two brothers. Our Joseph married Elizabeth "Betsey" Butler in Anderson Co., TN 1845. They were married by Richard Oliver, JOP of Oliver Springs. They had Michael, John, David, Mary, Sarah, James and Minerva as children, maybe more. We descend from Minerva. My husbands great grandmother. But we can find nothing on Joseph Justice. I know some of this line moved to Marion, IL, but I am uncertain if it was just Joseph Justive (1825-1901) or other Justices. Ick Bert Jestes and Ina Loula (Lou) Rogers were married in Morgan County Tennessee by T.E. McGee on May or June 5, 1902. The marriage record appears to have been written over the original entry and the actual month is not clear. Sam McGlothin was their bondsman.

John Walls was born in 1795, and his wife's name was Anne Woods(Walls); she was born in 1799. They met and married in Virginia,later settling in Powell, Tennessee, in the late 1830's. Later they decided that they didn't want to make their home there, making their way westward, they came down to what is now Coalfield. Per May McGlothin: John B. Walls walked across the mountains from North Carolina and carried his children. Som e of the older children had already come here.
Per "A History of Coalfield" by W.B. Lyles:

John Walls was born in 1795 and his wife's name was Anne Woolds (Walls); she was born in 1799. They met and married in Virginia, later settling in Powell, Tennessee, in the late 1830s. Later they decided that they didn't want to make their home there, making their way westward, they came down to what is now Coalfield. They settled here and built a log cabin where they raised their family.
