  SCARBRO, MRS. MABEL ELIZABETH JONES, age 95, of Petros, Tennessee,passed away Wednesday, February 25th, 2004 at St. Mary's MedicalCenter of LaFollette, Tennessee. She was a member of Petros BaptistChurch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Scarbro;parents, John Edward and Frances Williams Jones; brother, Roger;sisters, Mamie, Mary and Nell. Survivors include, brother-in-law,Alfred Scarbrough; sisters-in-law, May Bunch and Ethel Scarbro; niecesand nephews; loyal neighbor, Jim Goad of Petros; caretaker, CoraHuckaby of LaFollette, and caring friends, Don and Nora Long. Friendsand relatives may call at Schubert Funeral Home on Saturday, February28, 2004 from 12 pm to 2 pm. The funeral service will begin at 2 pmwith her former pastor, Dr. Don Long of Knoxville officiating.Interment will follow in Wartburg City Cemetery.
