    • COKER, THOMAS, 85, of Coalfield, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 2004, at theLifecare Center of Morgan County. He was preceded in death by hisparents, Arnold Marion and JoAnn Elizabeth Coker. Mr. Coker issurvived by his wife, Alene Coker; his son, Roger Coker and wife,Gail, of Coalfield; two stepsons, Ronnie Jackson and Sammy Jackson;his grandson, Lee Coker and fiancee, Amanda Logan; and by twogranddaughters, April West and husband, Allen, and Lee Ann Bedford andhusband, Wayne. He is also surrvived by four great-grandchildren,Derrick, Haley, Victoria and Layne; a sister, June Wright and husband,Billy, of Harriman; two brothers, Bob Coker and wife, Bonnie, ofCrossville and Alvin Coker and wife, Wanda, of Coalfield; and byseveral other family members and friends. The funeral will begin at 8p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburgwith Don Daugherty officiating. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m.Sunday, Jan. 25, at Estes Cemetery in Coalfield The family willreceive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. [OakRidger]
