  Gay Nell Musselwhite, age 58, a resident of Harriman and formerly ofCoalfield, died Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Harriman Care &Rahabilitation Center. Gay Nell was born May 14, 1950 in Bainbridge, Georgia. She has livedin this since early childhood. She graduated from Coalfield High School in 1968. She enjoyed fishing,and most importantly spending time with her family and friends. Gay Nell was preceded in death by her parents, P.D. Musselwhite andCassie O. Woods Musselwhite, by a brother, Frank Musselwhite, by ahalf brother, Marvin Musselwhite, and by a nephew, Timmy Musselwhite. She is survived by a sister, Sharon Woods and husband Chester ofPaducah, KY, by a brother, Wayne Musselwhite and wife Wilma of Mobile,AL, by a aunt, Catherine Davis of Oliver Springs, and by severalnieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends Monday, January 26, 2009 between thehours of 6:00 and 8:00 pm at Sharp Funeral Home. The funeral willfollow at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Rick Matthewsofficiating. Burial and graveside services will be held Tuesday,January 27, 2009 at 11:00 am at the Woods Cemetery in Coalfield. SharpFuneral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
