During World War II he served in theNavy aboard the Battleship USS Indiana. His wife, Clara H.Stonecipher, preceded him in death. A son and daughter-in-law, Garryand Pat Stonecipher of Cleveland, Grandson and wife, Jim and CaraStonecipher of Corpus Christi, TX; Granddaughter and husband Lisa andRicky Humphries of Cleveland; Great-grandchildren, Ryan and MaryHumphries of Cleveland and Nathaniel and Calli Stonecipher of CorpusChristi, Tx survive him. One sister and husband, Mary Lou and CharlieMilligan of Knoxville, Tn, brother and wife William and LoisStonecipher of Knoxville, Tn and brother Clyde and Millie Stonecipherof Leeds, Al also survive him; Many nieces and nephews also survivehim.
