- STONECIPHER, JOHN B., 83, a resident of Cleveland passed away TuesdayMarch 15, 2005 at the family residence. He was of the Baptist Faith.He was formerly of Maryville, Tn where he retired from Alcoa aftermore than 40 years of service. During World War II he served in theNavy aboard the Battleship USS Indiana. His wife, Clara H.Stonecipher, preceded him in death. A son and daughter-in-law, Garryand Pat Stonecipher of Cleveland, Grandson and wife, Jim and CaraStonecipher of Corpus Christi, TX; Granddaughter and husband Lisa andRicky Humphries of Cleveland; Great-grandchildren, Ryan and MaryHumphries of Cleveland and Nathaniel and Calli Stonecipher of CorpusChristi, Tx survive him. One sister and husband, Mary Lou and CharlieMilligan of Knoxville, Tn, brother and wife William and LoisStonecipher of Knoxville, Tn and brother Clyde and Millie Stonecipherof Leeds, Al also survive him; Many nieces and nephews also survivehim. The family will receive friends at Schubert Funeeral Home inWartburg, TN March 17, 2005 from 6-8 pm with the service to follow.The service will be conducted by the Rev. Art Pflug, NorthsidePresbyterian Church, Cleveland, TN. Graveside services will be FridayMarch 18, 2005 at 10:00 am at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Cleveland, Tnwith the Rev.
