  COKER, ALENE METROGEN, 82, of Coalfield, died Wednesday, Aug. 25,2004, at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. She was preceded indeath by her husband, Thomas Coker; parents, Arthur and Martha (Davis)Metrogen; two sisters and one brother. Shhe is survived by sons, RogerCoker and wife, Gail, of Coalfield, Ronnie Jackson, of Oak Ridge,Sammy Jackson and wife, Sandy, of Indiana; grandchildren, Lee Cokerand fiancee, Amanda Logan, April West and husband, Allen, Lee AnnBedford and husband, Wayne, Ronnie Jackson, Tommy Jackson, DonnaJackson, Jeff Jackson and Lisa Gail Jackson; great-grandchildren,Derrick, Haley, Victoria and Layne; sister, June Linder, of Lafayette,Ind.; brothers, Maurice Metrogen, of Destin, Fla. and John Metrogogen ofSacremento, Calif.; and many other family members and friends. Thefuneral will begin at 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 2004, with DonDaugherty officiating. The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Fridayat Estes Cemetery in Coalfied. The family will receive friends from 6to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg. [OakRidger]
