Mr. Sampsel was born July 6, 1944 in Coalfield.He was a retired Contractor. He retired in 1992. He was a member ofCumberland Baptist Church of Knoxville, however he was very active inboth Cumberland Baptist Church and Pleasant Grove Baptist Church ofCoalfield. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 2002 at 8:00p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Mack Smith and Rev.Hershel Chevallier officiating.
