    • DUNCAN, RUBY JANE (SUMMERS). age 96 of the Joyner Community, went tobe with the Lord on Wednesday, October 19, 2005 at the MethodistMedical Center in Oak Ridge following a brief illness. She waspreceded in death by: husband, Herbert Andrew Duncacan; parents, Richardand Callie Summers; sisters, Aubrey Jones and Pearl Marlow; brother,Homer Summers. She is survived by: seven children including: daughtersand sons-in-law, Carrie Lou (Charlie) Embry of Cave City, KY, BettySue (Dennis) Neskaug of Powell and Marjorie Gale (Nelson) Dalton ofKingsport; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Lee (Venia) Duncan,Russell M. Duncan, Glen H. (Betty) Duncan, all of Joyner and James D.Duncan of Wartburg; She is also survived by a number of grandchiildren,great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren, nieces, nephewsand a host of friends and relatives. The family will receive friendsFriday, October 21, 2005 from 6-8 pm at Schubert Funeral Home inWartburg. Funeral services will begin at 8 pm with Bro. Paul Frickofficiating.
