- BUTTRAM, CLAUDE E., JR. - age 85 of Harriman passed away Tuesday December 14, 2010 at Parkwest Medical Center. Preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and a former member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church for 69 years. He was a combat wounded Army Veteran of WW II, having received several medals and commendations. Survivors; wife Lucille R. Buttram of Harriman; son Claude E. Buttram, III & wife Ann of Knoxville; special granddaughter Heather Buttram of Knoxville. Graveside service 4 PM Friday at Roane Memorial Gardens with Rev. Richard Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:30 PM Friday at Riverside Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Riverside Baptist Church for missions or the youth department. www.kykerfuneralhome.com
