- Coy R. Hubble of the Woodstock community, Pulaski County, Kentucky, died at his home after a long illness. He was 91 years old.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Woodstock Lodge No. 639 F & AM and Woodstock Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
He was survived by his sons, Hershel Hubble of Eubank, Kentucky, Clarence Hubble of San Diego, California, John Ivan Hubble of Somerset, Kentucky, William R. "Bill" Hubble of Somerset, Kentucky, and Marion Hubble of Woodstock, Kentucky; his daughters, Mildred Wilson of Muncie, Indiana and Vauda McWilliams of Franklin, Indiana; his sisters, Elsie Smith of Dayton, Ohio and Grace Brown of Brodhead, Kentucky; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marion N. Hubble and Ellen (Playforth) Hubble; his wife, Jemima Isabell (Abbott) Hubble (married July 1, 1920); his daughter, Wanda Norton; his brother, Hubert Hubble; and his sister, Marian Beatrice Hubble.
Funeral services were held at the chapel of Morris and Hislope Funeral Home with Reverend C.E. Hansford and Reverend Virthel Taylor officiating.
