Mrs. Futrel waspreceded in death by her parents, John Morrison and Ona JacksonMorrison, by her husband, James Conard Futrel, by three s sisters,Nettie Ellisson, Eunice Bailey, and Cora Gardner, by four brothers,Sam, Howard, Harrison, and John Morrison, and by a grandson, EddieGregg. Survivors: children, Susie E. Adcock Whitaker and husband,Thomas L. of Knoxville, and JoAnn Gregg and husband, Willie ofMosheim, Tenn.; son, Cedrick Jackson of Coalfield; grandchildren,James Warren Adcock, Rick Adcock, Vicki Francis, and Sonya Gregg; sixgreat-grandchildren; brother, Dave Morrison of Clinton; sisters,Lettie Fox of Knoxville, and Ollie Mayes of Strawberry Plains, Tenn.Special friends, Dorothy Moore and Marie Reynolds. Mrs. Futrel wasborn December 31, 1909, in Morgan County. She was a lifelong residentof Coalfield. She was a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2001, at 8 p.m. inthe Chapel of Sharp Funeral Home with Rev. Mack Smith and Rev. FloydPowell officiating. Friends may call Thursday, between the hours of6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
