Per Anderson County TN History by Hoskins (Memphis Press), EnochFoster testified in a court case. 'Hinds Creek was navigable forfloating logs, and in 1858-59 Enoch Foster was bringing logs down thecrek. He said, during testimony in a lawsuit, "It's easier to getlogs down the creek than haul them to Clinton or Heiskell." ' Page 36
