- BUNCH, REAFUS SIDNEY, 75, a resident of the Stevens community inMorgan County, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2005, at the University ofTennessee Medical Center at Knoxville. Born on Feb. 17, 1930, inDevonia, he was the son of Laura Bunch of Coalfield and Walter Bunch,now deceased. He lived in Detroit, Mich., for eight years, and St.Louis, Mo., for 27 years before moving back to Tennessee. Mr. Bunchwas a retired auto worker and worked at both the Chrysler AutomobilePlants in Detroit and St. Louis for a total of 35 years. He heldvarious positions with Chrysler through the years, retiring as aninspector. Mr. Bunch most recently reaffirmed his faith in God andshared his salvation with family members. He was an accomplishedmusician. His f favorite instrument was the banjo, which he spent manyhours playing. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death bya brother, Norman Bunch, and his mother-in-law, Hazel Carroll. Mr.Bunch is survived by his wife, Omer Carroll Bunch of thhe Stevenscommunity; his son, Scott Bunch and wife, Christy, of Winchester; hisdaughter, Regina Foster and husband, Mark, of Wartburg; and fourgrandchildren, Shawn Seiber, Jared Foster, Brandon Seiber, and SamuelRoss Bunch. He is also survived by two brothers, Cledyth Bunch andwife, Nicey, of Devonia, and Carlos Bunch and wife, Peggy, ofKingston; five sisters, Effie Ward and Ester Byrge, both of OliverSprings, Stella Kennedy of Lake City, Margaret Leach and husband, Don,of Oak Ridge, and Freda Bunch and husband, Castle, of Coalfield; hisfather-in-law, Sammie Carroll of Devonia; brothers-in-law, DolphusCarroll and wife, Sue, of Wartburg, Willie Carroll and wife, Freida,of Devonia, the Rev. Houston Carroll and wife, Joyce, of D Dutch Valley,and HerbieCarroll and wife, Teresa, of Devonia; and by many nieces andnephews, special friends and extended family members. The funeral willbe held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at Shiloh Baptist Churchin Devonia with the Rev. Lee Phillips and the Rev. Houston Carrollofficiating. Burial and graveside services will follow at the PhillipsCemetery in Devonia. The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m.Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at Sharp Funeral
